LOLOLOL!

Nam,

You would understand where I am coming from. Husband and Mum think its a crack up too. Did it before Alexanders birth and there was no way that I was going into this birth with a scruffy do - if you get my meaning!

I hear you!!!! I don't know if I could get it waxed though....I'm a bit afraid of that. A friend of mine told me it's actually better...I need some courage. Being preggo and trying to keep things nice and tidy down there is difficult! You can get all ready for your birth as you want...I'm so happy for you and keeping you in my thoughts.

Thanks for pulling a grin from me... Nothing like having babe just to see (because you could not before) that you have been running around looking like Chewbaca or bigfoot's cousin, eeek. Talk about wake up call.

But waxing, did it once and only partial. One yank and I was done! Pass me a razor please any day.

OMG...you guys are hurting me...

Too funny...

Tried it both ways...waxing and razor...don't like having it grow back (the process I mean), cause ingrown hairs hurt!

Anyways...didn't have to worry about it...had my 2 girls C-section (first one breech, second one other complications).

Good luck Kerrie...prayers are with you for safe delivery.

Where I used to work (maternity) we would have code words so we wouldn't be surprised when we got in there. Can you believe that! I remember one very distinctly:

After the doctor and I were done with the delivery and left the room, he turned to me and said, "Well, that was like foraging through the forest."

I about peed my pants!

That was probably my doc after my first one LMAO! Ya'll crack me up and probably chasing every guy far far away thinking "I am not saying a word"...

Kerri-Ann my hang up was tonnes of pillows and cool rags, and even my feet rubbed. I cannot wait for details. Best care I had was with a midwife. An hour at least for each appointment. A nurse brought the machine to my home (big ole' thing) for ultra sound as they thought twins (shudder) and she spent so much time with me showing me so much and letting me gaze from my sofa! It was just the best and no poking around if you know what I mean...

Luckily it was I had a lot of amniotic fluid, and also thank goodness not another 9 pounder like other girl... but a couple pounds really did not make a difference on exit!

I am so excited for you both. You will do great and so will your guy. Sorry, normal mom, get pumped about babies... Long as it is not me doing it again!

Thanks Nam, Veiled and KimG,

Been waxing my whole life, only hurts like a bitch while you are pregnant ....all of that extra blood flow (etc). Not expecting too much poking around this time as I have employed an independent midwife to help, but it never hurts to be tidy for the event!! Lets face it, not really for my benefit.....long past the time when I can see things down there anyway!! Babe is due soon, thanks for your well wishes. I am sure Anthony will be quick to post here one babe is born and we are settled.

Hell yer, I'll be letting the world know, and pictures to boot (not the gory one's, just the cute new bub one's).

Well, today I played a new game I got yesterday. I haven't played a PC game in a long time, so I decided to get this new WWII one, where you get to fight the campaigns of then, and it kicks arse. So I have been amused with that one... What good came from it? I was relaxing.

I went to a womens circle 'Mothers Blessings' part of a birth week program being run in the hills. It was a little bit alternative and bit 'tree hugging' is what Anthony would call it but it was good for me. I have been doing a lot of my own work healing from Alexander's birth before this one arrives. We had a pretty rough experience and almost two years down the track I can finally talk about his birth without tears in my eyes. Its good to be at this point now so I am clear to give birth to our new babe.

vets

I sat with the veterns today, who were unable to attend the march. I took them a couple of beer , as their not allowed. We drank a few and shared some intresting stories or should i say i listened. mj
