Took Evie driving today. Went very well. She managed a perfect parallel park. And. She talked to me! A real conversation. :-) Finished the siding on the stables as well. Only need painting now.

I took my youngest daughter out and got her completely outfitted for school. It starts here on August 20th. From shoes up, she's ready clothes wise. She's got enough school supplies to start a small home based company!

I was proud of myself...I got through the hours of shopping (I find it easier to do it in one fell swoop rather than break it up) and only came close to losing it once. Pretty good for me. We went out to lunch afterwards.

Then I came home and completely crashed. But I got it done! Only two more times (two more school starts until she's out of school) and I'm never going to have to fight a school supply crowd again. Yeh!!!

Nice going, Lisa! The back-to-school rush can be overwhelming, that's for sure. I'm glad you and your daughter did fine with it.

Sounds silly but I stepped outside my normal comfort zone and agreed to painting a wall in the house burnt orange with Anthony. While some people may think this is no big deal, to help put it into perspective, every wall in our home is neutral.

As Anthony put it I an now expressing myself more (and adding colour to my life) rather than being the conservative person who tries to please everyone.

Must say the wall looks awesome and when we mount the plasma and install the surround system it should be a feature of the house.
