The way I understand it its when one under responds to set out standard treatment protocols. I think there are probably loads of us here. I also believe we can all respond when we find the right treatment and identify and help what is obstructing our progress.. Trust and dissociation are two things that can interfer and especially for those of us with either complex trauma or personality difficulty. Sometimes that takes a little time.
