What Made You Angry Today?

*blink blink* :O_o: Wow, is this the What Made Me Angry Today thread? Ha! :whistling:;)

Nothing made me angry... I just had to say that Cashew's Sistah Someone's "eradicating injustice in my heart is the only place I needa do it in" is the best and most illuminating thing I've heard in a while.

Okay, I had a membership to elitedealclub.com. They give you coupon discounts on certain products at Amazon.com in return for your reviews. They only have limited coupons, and they frown on you clicking on a coupon and not using it. Well I did just that in error and did not purchase the product. The product kept showing up in my history to review, but it also had a button to click if you did not purchase the item. So I did that. The window said to email them at a certain address, and they would remove it from my history. I ended up emailing them twice before I got a reply.

They actually reprimanded me in the email they sent me!! :bored::shifty: They told me I should be more conscious in what I do. Also, they refuse to remove it from my history! My goodness, had I known I was going to get such a negative response I would have never emailed them in the first place! It's not like I've done this multiple times, once, just once!

Another time I emailed them about a coupon that did not have the value they said it did and the product ended up costing more. They never responded. I had to go through Amazon, who had me go through the seller. The seller honored what the coupon was suppose to be. Thankfully.

Their customer service skills stink. I removed myself from their membership, and unsubscribed to their email. You can get good deals, but it is not worth the negativity from them. At least not to me. They may be providing me a substantial coupon, but I am providing a review which benefits them and the seller. It's not like it was for free!:sour:

Today, I took a bus to the Dentist to submit a form that would allow a sliding scale on a cleaning. The sweet lady tallied up the cleaning for my appointment in a few minutes and joyfully told me it was only $400 plus.:O_o: I gasped and asked,"How did it raise in the price range from $75.00 quoted to $400+ ?" and requested a cancellation.

The other woman at the counter stated that it was highly recommended and that they might not do the filling that was next on the list (covered by benefits) if I did not comply. To which I responded-
" It is highly recommended that I drive a Cadillac, but I have to take the bus!" :meh::roflmao:

Amazingly, after a few more heated exchanges (and after I sat in the bathroom to calm down) upon reentry into the admin area...they discovered it was an miscalculation and indeed it was 75 dollars...:wtf:

I do not think I handled it so great today...and they saw my zero to 100 miles per hour PTSD.:banghead: I think that is what me angry the most... I lost my cool ....:blackeye:

@Recovery4Me : Grade 1 for your great reply! Cleo waves and hopes your blood pressure is alright. ;)

A colleague of our operation center made me angry today. I called him to notify that we will do a house search. I called the same colleague later because I needed someone to open the door - and he snapped at me "You have to prepare that before you go on a search!"..."Why before? I never know if someone opens or not?!"...I called the chief of the operation center later and he told me that I got it right. It's a rule that I have to ask for such a company over the center. ...there's and old "competition" between patrol service and criminal police. The patrol service doesn't like us because they think we think that we're something better.

Less angry, more frustrated... But it's moving in that direction... And it's already had some rage flashes, so thrashing it up here:

My mom.

My mom is a good person. A very good person. With quirks. The single most annoying of which is that she has essentially zero boundaries.

- My mother does NOT -contrary to her own peculiar belief system- have a right to all my personal and confidential information (medical, banking, god alone knows what else)*

- Everything that I own does NOT, in point of fact, belong to her... So she retains no rights as to selling it, giving it away, going through it, "reorganizing" it, going through it, or moving it elsewhere.

Rudeness is NOT my doing anything she disagrees with or dislikes. Such as,

- I am NOT being rude when I have to take a long time to answer because I have to breathe (pneumonia, on oxygen, and being yelled at for being rude for not answering her questions -that she doesn't even have a right to the answers- fast enough for her liking. OMFG). :banghead:

- I am NOT being rude when I wish to speak to my doctor privately. It is NOT that I do not appreciate her & everything she's ever done for me. It is (& was) A) the fact that I am an adult & wish to have a private conversation with my doctor ... & that's neither rude nor insane under any set of circumstances, & B) was too sick to concentrate on more than one person at a time. ((I did, as a matter if fact, both plan on & did invite her in -afterwards- to have the doctor explain to her what was going on. But noooooooo. That's not good enough! :banghead: ))

- I am NOT being rude when I leave the bathroom door open -in my private room- because the oxygen cable would get squished shut if I closed the door. My need to breathe trumps her having to listen to me take a piss (that she can hear just fine with the damn door shut!).:banghead:

- I am NOT being rude when visitors exhaust me, just because the visitor happens to be her. (Anyone else? She can see, clearly, so&so needs their rest. Herself? How dare I be exhausted by my mother?!?!... When all she's doing is blah blah blah blah). Mom. Stop. Mom. Just stop. Mom! >.< :banghead:

* Big Vent ...

- Representing herself as my agent (as if I'm incompetent/special needs :banghead: ) when the person on the other end of the phone checks my birthday and sees that "I'm her mother." Does not actually qualify as a legal -much less valid- reason for her to have access to my private medical & banking info since I'm not a child!!!!

***

To be exceptionally clear... My mother is not abusive, or narcissistic, or anything else (aside from possibly compulsive about moving shit around :cautious: For real, it's like the look wih your eyes, not your hands thing never sank in. Mom! Put that down! ). These are just "normal family" problems / frustrations / politics. My mom would give anyone the shirt off her back, and would carve her own heart out for her kids if one of us needed a heart transplant. She's a really, really GOOD person. Who loves us all deeply. She just also drives me insane. :wtf: StressCup!!! Argh. Hence the venting.
