A memory of playing Old Maid with my gran, she made it fun, and had circular playing cards with a picture of Edinburgh Castle on the back :inlove:

Meeting a new neighbour and applying for psychotherapy for the first time in years :happy:

Being out in the sun all day, working in the garden, then watching the swallows fly around.

They are so relaxing to watch, especially if it's windy as they are so agile, and fast, really fast, I can spend ages just watching them.

They will soon be leaving, and making their 2000 mile flight back to North Africa. You can always tell when it's time for them to leave, as that's when all the "daddy long legs" appear, the swallows feed on them, as they get high protean for their flight.

I will miss my "wee spitfires" when they leave, it's a sad time of year, as it marks the end of summer, if we had one that is?

Made a date with a friend to go yard saling on Friday. I haven't been out doing stuff since my brother passed.

My new T. I told him something an old T said and he responded, "Well that's helpful" in a sarcastic voice. He hit the nail on the head. He gave me a recipe for eggs, since I have so many.

Haven't really posted so going to do What Made Me Happy over the last few days:

feeling the support from this place in the back drop on low hum

being on the seminar and feeling some sense of connection with what was shared

feeling a part of something

having a sense of trust that I am arriving at where I need to be

experiencing generosity and kindness of others

insight about situations and myself

being close to my cat again, she is so lovely and loving
