What Made You Happy Today?

I won a battle with my oven and made cookies what were not burnt this time. HAH.

I took offense when I burnt cookies a few days ago, it has never happened before.

I was happy to spend time with my husband at home. I am so glad they did not admit him to the hospital. He is on antibiotics. I sure hope they make him better.

Gizmo, I am very glad your husband wasn't placed in the hospital and was given medicine.


I honestly just got out of bed but I opened my email to find that my counselor replied to my last email (it was letting her know I'm back home on campus), she loved the pictures I sent along of my nieces and nephews and said I looked genuinely happy, and I was because I had the kids around me.

I am highly amused that she reminded me at the end of the email to give their office a call to set up an appointment for next week, it would seem she has become very familiar with my habits of not going in.

Ayasha, I happen to like some cookies a little on the darker side. Not totally charred, but a little burnt is okay with me. I would probably have picked out some I thought were salvageable. :)

I ate the salvageable ones, I'll not waste a cookie but I still prefer them to be golden brown, not dark brown. :happy:

I still feel triumphant that I managed to cook the cookies my way last night.

My husband is getting his hair cut today. Yay. It is way too long and difficult for me to braid. I wish he would cut it short really short. But he is not ready. He is not having a good day today. I worry about tiring him out with the pneumonia.

I have alot to do today. And he will be coming with me.

I think he'll be okay if you guys take frequent breaks if you can. That usually helps me if I'm having trouble with my asthma, just to sit down for a few minutes. :)

My husband came with me and he got his long hair cut. He looks so much better. The girl did a really good job cutting his hair. I was glad he came with me. I did not get any bills today. I am feeling good at getting so much accomplished.

I went to my local comic store, got a new issue from the New 52's Red Hood, and talked for a while to the salesgirl about all the new comics that have come out. It was really pleasant.
