What Made You Happy Today?

Being able to come back here and seeing that the forum is still alive and full of good people made me happy. I also made a loaf of banana bread with raisins this morning. Yummy.

Another thing that made me happy was: I was able to get out of bed and move around somewhat. I can use my eyes and not bump into things. Giggle

Having my dog stretch beside me.

Having a bad dream about my mother, but standing up to her in the dream, made me happy.

I laughed inwardly when my med nurse gave me a post it note to give to my regular doctor for a request to up my meds that the doctor is handling. I'm almost feeling guilty for laughing. It was a tiny note. No official request from him I guess.

I saw a rainbow today.

Happy that my doctor, once his nurse called me, understood what the other nurse was requesting. They thought the note was from me! Happy that we got it all worked out and that he gets it and trusts me regarding my medication request.

Putting my feet up and reading a book.

My husband.

He walks into the living room, sits down and then takes a half eaten croissant from off the coffee table. He sticks half of it in his mouth. I look at him and say: "Dear, who in this house loves bread and loves butter? Who in this house probably walked by and saw that laying there too and may have help herself?"

The cat! :laugh:

He slowly takes the half out of his mouth. And then goes to the kitchen to raise out his mouth. I was laughing so hard I couldn't breathe. But now I am in trouble becasue I "could have told him before he put the bread in his mouth".

I started to feel better after having a little lunch. That makes me happier.

One more day and I get my new I pad air. So looking forward to that. I treated myself with this.

Buying my soon to be 3 year old great nephew his birthday present and a present for Christmas

Enjoying my husband's company during pre-op testing today made me happy today, as did him asking the nurse if I would be able to see a priest pre - surgery and us being told yes.

Speaking with and the time spent with my daughter earlier made me happy.

Giving our dog a face, head, neck, back massage sometime after arriving home makes me happy.

Officially trusting, meeting and petting our big Tiger cat this evening also made me happy, as before tonight I've feared this cat.

My new hair cut and colour. Plus I'm looking forward to going out for a meal with Hubby tonight.
