Well my time on Face Book maybe a short one!!! Got this today....

Got this from a friend on a forum: This generator has been on my FB page advertisement side panel all day since I saw your post and went to that page, I think they are stalking my web history... (not sure to say that as a joke or not).

This was my answer to him: Well I am only a few days in on a new FB page!!! I got talked into it by a few friends. It maybe time to CLOSE my account if they are going to pull that shit......

So I am thinking........Knowing me as I do, LOL I will probably close my FB in the next few days.........Come to think about it, it's why I never wanted one in the first place!!! I am not much of a game player, so FB, you just screwed up with me.

Duno, could be coincidence. Could be cookie. It doesn't bother me that much. I don't do much on FB but read service dog stuff and play Tribz. Everything is linked to everything now days. It's just a way they pay their bills.

Hey Bar, I called a friend about this, as I have been out computer programing/fixing since 06. He said it was 99% cookies. You got a cookie from Home Depot, and FB picked it up......you get the ad. Another friend on my FB said he was also getting the add as well.........I am set to close my FB account on Monday as I can't stand Ads & Data Mining.....BS

I can tell you that I get page errors on FB, my friend says it's because I run a free program called CCleaner, it removers cookies from my putter. LOL It must work on stopping ads on FB as well, as I have yet to see one on my page. Could be an ad blocker I run as well, but that leaves an empty box and I don't see that on FB....

FB works with keyword recognition as well. Talking about farm equipment may lead to ads about farm equipment.
Cookies where you look at Yahoo are linked with FB.
Internet has no privacy. Pretty sure every publicly visible place gets watched for ads and for other intentions.
Used to get my goat but since it's there I could stay away or take it as a given.
Between all other data collected about everyone it's inescapable. Is it a pleasant thought? No but neither is cctv, creditcard data or mobile phone pinpointing.
Moving to Inner Mongolia might work towards an unnoticed life...if you like Yaks.

That is how in my opinion facebook is free. They track what people look at and tell the companies and the companies pay them for it. It's basically free so they can track our information.

But anyway what makes me happy today is you guys. Well this forum and the people here. It is so great to have a place that I feel safe. Especially with all the crap with my supervisor driving me nuts it feels so good to have someplace that feels safe

I woke up. Posted a rant on ISIS and then proceeded to be very pissed off all morning. Walked out to the shop drinking a cup a coffee and stared at my bass boat which I. Haven't used in over a year. I decided today would be the day.

Spend the morning on the river, floating, fishing and smoking a Canadian cigar. It honestly felt like the weight of the world was someone else's problem. .

Then I came home and took a short nap.

Why don't I do this more often
