Something inside so strong by Labi Siffre. Superb song that makes me want to keep fighting.

I am currently making a 'happy' play list. Songs that make me smile. Music is a powerful tool and we should use it in the black times to lift our spirits.

Id have to say for myself Powderfinger up loud enough to stop my mind from wondering but on realy bad days i cant do music it confuses me to much i cant concetrate enough to listen it just scrambles in my head with my other thoughts then i get the shits up with the world and have to have some quiet time.

Sons of Somerled CD, went through 3 of them (kids kill CDs). And today I need it sooo bad. I feel my seams popping. That one moves me so much, the style of music is so unlike whet we have here, I think it is Celtic? It allows me to release and calm. Need to get on Ebay and find the SOB again I swear it used to keep me sane.

there are times when yes, it is overwhelming to even listen to music. but other times i can gravitate towards a song that has a line or two that just expresses how i feel. so i don't have to.

depending on your beliefs, there is some very peaceful worship music out there that calms my insides.

Hmms, I often listen to my meditation CD's
also like some orchestral works.

One of the best though for relieving stress would have to be any of the Evenescence songs from either albumn.
It can however trigger me sometimes. ust depends on what thoughts it triggers.

I'm with GR'ass with the orchestral works and Evevescence. Also Stone Sour, the sound track from Brahm Stokers Dracula, Pink Floyd.
This one is a little harsher but Rob Zombie also helps.

Weird instrumental, hypnotic sleep music. There's music out there that is proven to promote certain brain waves that help induce sleep. I have yet to try that one.
