doctor my eyes by jackson browne is just one more piece of art that i was drawn to and considered a favorite before i realized that it was all about PTSD. the guitar solo and the outro were supposedly one and done first take tracks. Lots of learning in trying to cover them, my warm up licks most of the times i pick up a guitar to play for what, 30 years? Just wow. thanks man

Never thought about it that way as it predates the diagnoses by about 8 years, but it fits. I always loved Jackson Browne's stuff. He is an amazing songwriter and was such an influence on Glen Frey and co-wrote a lot of the Eagles songs. I can't remember where but I heard an interview with Glen Frey and while they were both "struggling artists" they rented a place Glen described as 'three rooms and a piano". He said they didn't have enough money to do much other than sit and write songs....

I do love the song though and identify more with it now than I used to.
