Oh @MrMoonlight , and your poor hand and fingers! :( Well, I nearly (only) lost the ends of 2 fingers, one in particular, from a newly sharpened butcher knife. I stuck them back together (one was hanging off by a thread), crudely bandaged and once they eventually stopped bleeding, they were totally numb. But I kept squeezing them back down at the tips. I would keep rubbing them and after about 2 years (?) the feeling had come back mostly in one, and about 60-65% in the other (it might have taken longer- maybe 8-10 years, I can't remember? It was a while back). Of course my dominant hand. :( What a horrible feeling, to feel nothing. And so annoying, the loss of usefulness. :( I wish you much healing! :hug:
