I think I'd choose Iceland since I'm already surrounded my so much green, just for something different. Not sure I'd get the "Ice, ice baby." song out of my head space during the trip, though. lol Might be a deal breaker.

Do you prefer to listen to thunder way off in the distance or have it close enough to feel the rumbles?

Thunder scares me just like it did when I was a kid so, I would have to say thunder in the distance.
