Luthien, I do love cooking. I don't do it as much as I used to, but a few new recipes are always welcome, for sure. Thanks. The entire sutra collection from the first book is posted on the "Poems by Us and Others" thread if you want to check them out.

2Not, that is awsome you've recorded two albums!! I'm still trying to find the courage to record 1 song properly. I don't know why. Maybe it's motivation more than courage? It would be cool if you could post them here somehow if they are in MP3 format. Just a thought, I'd love to hear it.

Take care,
Dave

Thanks cragger, I don't know, its kind of scary. Back then I was such a different person than I am now. I can't explain exactly how yet, but that was 12 years ago and I am much more of an emotional mess now, than what I was back them. I almost feel like a totally different person.

When I have more energy I will share more.

I say, go for it, it reallly isn't as "scary or intimidating" as you may think. I was really trying to overcome my fear of playing in front of people. And to be recording it where I can hear all my mistake and flaws, that was hard, but grew alot from it and actually felt better about my playng afterwards.

I would start with one song at a time if I could have done it all over again. It was almost too overwhelming to do all the songs at once. One at a time gives you time after recording it to hear a few different times and decide what you'd like to record over.

With technology being the way it is now, you can practically go right in the middle of a measure just to correct one note, or word, etc. It's really amazing stuff, what can be done nowadays.
