That is not about you, it is only about her, she doesn't hug clients, and unfortunately we are only clients.

I know journaling isn't really helpful when we feel like this, it demands so much concentration, and I don't have it when I am falling apart
 
I have also been told to journal. NO WAY!!! I want someone to listen and hold me and let me cry. How hard is that request?
Sometimes journaling can feeling like talking to another person. I find it really helpful.

Sometimes there just isn't anyone out there who is able to listen and hold us and let us cry. Sometimes because there literally is no one there. Sometimes because they don't understand and so are not comfortable enough to do it.

Sometimes in those times I find a stuffed animal and pour my tears into it. I can hold it so there's some comfort there. Maybe you could comfort yourself. Sometimes I rub my own hair to soothe myself.

And as others have said, come on here. We might not be able to physically be there, but it sure can help to see people's responses or to go on chat.

Yes sometimes journaling is helpful. I do love to write. But it doesn't meet my needs either. Sometimes I think there should be 1:1 sponsors or peer supports for those of us with PTSD that need that extra support. Idk-I am just venting and rambling
