My current avi is a drawing my niece did of me and my dog. It's there because it makes me smile even though I'm feeling sad.

i think it kinda describes me by common standards, at least thats what everyone uses to call me lol.
well the avatar is from a tv show where this girl is about to jump out of a building because she feels cheated and deceived and like nothing can be the same anyomore. nothing is real ......but she ends up not doing it because she loves/trusts herself better than anything else (thats my interpretation anyway) but i guess it kinda suits my mood as of late :X

 

[Gecko]

I chose the name Gecko for so many reasons. In some ways the name is a reminder of some of the best days of my life. In some ways it reminds me of who I am now and how I feel.

- Growing up, some of the best times in my life were spent with my grandparents, and they always had geckos in their yard... so that's the connection there.
- As for the connection to me currently... geckos always seem to be scanning for danger, always alert, always keeping a safe distance, always adapting to environments, there but always hoping never to be seen, and often misunderstood...
And for the avatar, I chose a tribal flame design of a lion. Again, there are multiple reasons. The lion represents Leo, my birth sign. The tribal flame design is a throwback to my roots in an oblique way and because I was born under a fire sign.

Time to change my Avatar to a holiday theme. It is actually a picture of one of my favorite ornaments on my tree. I like stars, and they are all santa's with stars. Enjoy. :) Of course now I have to find the picture.

Ok. Me brave. :p (sarcasm aimed at self).

I was inspired by Nicolette and others Christmas avatars and thought I could get myself to put up something temporary to add decorative value to the site. I like the uniqueness of snow crystals and how deceptively simple they appear until one takes a closer look.

[Orglethorp]

Hey everyone!
Orglethorp is one of my domain names (orglethorp-studios) for my freelance graphics & programming work. It's admittedly more of a hobby than a side job, but I keep it around just in case. The name originally came from my mother. She doesn't remember where she originally heard the word -we figure it's something Grandpa came up with decades ago- but it used to be her default answer to the questions "what's that?" or "who's that?" if she didn't know when my sister and I were kids. It wasn't until 3 or 4 years ago that I ever heard of Oglethorp, but no, there's no correlation.

My real name is Jenna.

My avatar is a photo of myself from earlier this year. I had been planning a Boy George (Karma Chameleon inspired) Halloween costume, and I was playing around with a possible make-up look for it. I liked it so much that it's also on my Facebook and Twitter profiles.

KD are my intials. Blossom is a calico cat I had for many years. My picture is of my cat Liberty who like Blossom is now dead.

Changed my Avatar again. This time it is a set of old train tracks, over water, with flowers nearby. I chose it for the beginning of this new year to remind myself that my life is a journey and no matter which way I decide to travel on it, it will never be stagnate. Yes, I took this picture, in Nebraska. I just loved the view.

My avvi is of a man and woman standing with a whirl wind of beautiful colours around them. I chose it as it represents the love and safeness I feel when in R's arms and also the sense of being protected but excited for an unknown future at the same time.
