In the navy I never experienced the brotherhood talked about in this video. Very few percent of those I worked with really got the seriousness of what we were doing. War. I knew of the brotherhood born in war, and I did all I could do to protect those brothers and sisters I never got to know.

I think there's always a brotherhood in the military. It just differs in the jobs that we do. I'm sure you probably had it with some you were with Bar. Even in combat not everyone feels that way either.

Personally I'd say I miss knowing that what ever happens I can count on those around me. Not the same as working in an office or on a jobsite.

It's funny my therapist recommended watching that video a couple weeks ago and it helped me understand a lot.
