Yoga Niedra

There'a a lady, Niedra Gabrial, who is a yoga and pilates instructor. That may be who you're talking about.

Weather it is or not Isn't as important as finding a routine that gets you on the path to relaxation, and provides a source excercise. I've done yoga, including meditation, for years, and it's great in all it's various forms that I've seen.

It's another form of baby steps, and gets you to focus on the present. Anyone can do the meditation, and most can jump right into low impact sessions. For those who haven't tried it, go to just about any book or video store, get as disk, and jump in.

Its a good relaxationtechnique. Used it last night to fall asleep and slept petty good. But it walks you through to focus on different parts of your body and get them to , make you more aware of the.now
 
The Vet Center that I go to just recently had a 5 day course that included a form of yoga to aide in relaxation and sleep therapy.

I found it quite informing with practical methods to calm both the body and mind. It is being offered to PTSD veterans currently working with groups. They are all volunteers that facilitate the course and have some very good results with combat veterans.
