When you're doctor calls you to discuss your surgery and you start to panic when you get off the phone because you realize that you aren't sure what he said. :wtf:

Oh I hate that Bubzilla! I started telling my husband what the doctor said, then I started doubting what I was repeating. Wondering if I heard him incorrectly, etc. My husband wanted me to call back right away, so I did but I think his office was closed by that time. I guess I'll just have to ask him on Wednesday and try not to panic about it in the meantime! :confused:

I think the worst is when I get off the phone and my brain promptly does a memory dump.

Definitely, I no longer remember what he said. My head is going in circles trying to capture it. It's not going to happen. I should just give in and let it go. You would think it would have stuck in my mind as it was an important conversation. Where in the world did it go???

......Memory dump - a 'snapshot' of a computer/electronic device a split second before it crashes and you get a blue screen of death.

Usually the snapshot file is hidden in some damn obscure place for analyzing later......IF you can find it.

Hence the term memory dump when my brain goes AWOL.

When you only do Christmas with friends because they do not think it is odd when you go outside and walk for 5 minutes. (I find pacing to be very calming!)
