Okay.. last show for me... Red Green Show (full episodes are on youtube): [DLMURL]https://www.ptsdforum.org/c/media/the-red-green-show-ep-228-go-fish-2002-season.826/[/DLMURL]
Crap it's not as old as I thought it was... apparently he's still touring. He's a hoot though.

Dynasty

Remember that one? We would tune in to find out what that crazy Carrington family had done that week and see if Krystle and Alexis would get into another cat fight that Blake would have to break up. As well, I believe it was the first show to openly portray a gay man, Steven, the son. I only recall that bc my parents weren't sure it was "appropriate" television for a 10 year old. Not the gay part but all of the sleeping around they did and the cheesy sex scenes.

Aw, yeah. I used to watch that in the mornings before university. He used to paint scenes that looked a lot like my favourite places, out in the woods and the mountains.

"let's give the tree a little friend..." in that soft Bob Ross whisper that just made the worst anxiety attacks go away!! All of his little noises that he would use to portray his brushes voice cracks me up! I could watch him day and night!

I'm so tickled by all these posts -- thanks for all of them.

Albatross, thanks for reminding me of "the Unknown Comedian" and roller derby (Have you seen the movie Whip It with the actor who starred in Juno? Roller Derby is coming back by the way in some cities -- Columbus, Austin, etc.)

I loved Mary Tyler Moore (I read that Ed Asner is in a new play.)

I was a huge Dick Van Dyke fan: I didn't grow up with the prime-time show but watched it all the time. However, Chitty-Chitty-Bang-Bang came out in my time. It fascinated me when I was a wee one.

...waiting for the new Sears catalog!
Oh, that's a good one, MO. Me, too. Those things are collector's items now -- funny.

You might be old school if you remember being dragged to tupperware parties (before you were old enough to appreciate how well made and useful a lot of their products were).

Yea -- I collect vintage and antique farmer's almanacs -- love them.

...if you hoped your folks forgot to get the weekend paper because then it was easier to convince them to buy a TV guide at the grocery store.
