Your Pet Did What!?!

My Buddy hid behind the couch and cried when my son went to move his balloons that he got at his party. Not sure what happened, or why she is afraid. He had to go and comfort her in order to get her out from hiding. The other son held the balloon and was able to get her to come cautiously by him. Now she is sitting comfortably by me with the balloon several feet away. I guess as long as it doesn't move and she is by me she will be okay.

We are still visiting my folks. They live on the third floor. Doozer is in Love with the elevator! Today he snuck out and went down the hallway. I found him waiting patiently by the elevator, looking up at the numbers changing!

He was reluctant to come away home without his ride on the elevator!

I giggled all the way through that video Ms Spock. SO funny.

As for crazy things my pet has done...most recently, I was having a bit of a depressed mood after watching a documentary I probably should have passed by, when out of the corner of my eye, I saw April pounce into the air with her arms and paws spread widely and they came together to catch a blow fly that was buzzing around. She landed with the fly still trapped between her paws and I was reminded of Mr Miyagi from Karate Kid and how he caught the fly with his chopsticks. I was reminded of how zen cats are in that moment, and my mood was lifted and restored to good cheer after that. :D

Our little white cat Nano, well he's kind of grown up now, and is as big as the youngest 5yr old......he is very good at catching blow flies mid air and nomming on them.

One of the other grey cats when to jump up on the table, saw the other cat (they despise each other in public) and aborted mid jump.....only problem was, there wasn't enough room to turn around and land on her feet, so she did a face plant!

Groomed the oldest cat who is getting a bit lazy and matted.......he didn't mind it so much, but he hates the sound of scissors, so we'd snip out a matt, and then he would growl under his breath, but if you scratched under his chin or ear he would purr mid growl, and then cough because he couldn't make up his mind!

Silly cats.
