Sorry just seeing this now. My side effects started the second day. I had even worse anxiety than I did before taking the medication. I had more panic attacks as well. I couldn't eat or sleep and was constantly nauseous. I dreaded waking up the next day cause I knew I had to take the Prozac. It made me feel hopeless and depressed

Aw, that sucks! Must not be the right one for you eh? I'm 8 days in now and feel a little more what I think "normal" must feel like. Only negative thing I am noticing, and hope it's just a coincidence is sexual side effect, like a slight "numbing" effect on the body. I hope that particular effect is as bad as it's gonna get, or I'm gonna have to switch to something else.

I have been on Zoloft for a few months now. The first 2 weeks it made me very sleepy, by the 3rd week I was feeling much better. However, I do still feel some depression and anxiety but nothing like it was. I feel I may need to increase the dose a little. I also take trazidone to sleep. I have gained a few pounds with Zoloft.

Thanks for the reply. My doctor lowered me to 12.5 for now because the side effects I was having on the 25 were too much for me to handle. I'm hoping it helps
