Ever See 2 Therapist ?

I am seeing the same post with what assume was the original questions are still there. Maybe it was missing while it was being moved?

I wouldn't see 2 therapists. Been there------there's a potential for conflict.

Maybe therapy is easy for y'all but I wouldn't function AT ALL with 2 therapists given how drained I am after one session and how it sometimes takes days to recover.

But if it works for you and there are no issues, then go for it!

I forgot to mention in my earlier comment that both therapists knew what was going on.

Generally, it is against therapist conduct to do that unless you are seeing one exclusively for one particular problem, such as addiction or domestic violence or recent a sexual assault etc. It has potential to be a conflict of interest. Many therapists will not do treatment this way for the obvious problems even when for a specific problem. Some will say go ahead a see the addiction specialist until stable (if they do not specialize) and then feel free to make an appointment. I am also speaking of face to face counseling, and psychiatrists are not the same as therapists in the US usually. Their time is often limited to meds and such. So seeing a psychiatrist and therapist is acceptable.

Since both T are aware, there does not seem to be a conflict.
