Work continues to be stressful with administration taking care of their own family and family friends first and leaving the few of us, not related to anyone, feeling unappreciated and shoved aside.

Besides the extra pay, extra jobs available, and bonuses going to those related to the administrator's family and close friends, now the inequality is extending to additional support staff to assist them in their jobs. I have been with this school for longer than the other facilitator yet she now gets to teach the summer school classes, gets the extra pay for after hour work, has four other adults assisting her with her position, and now gets to be the supervisor for a student teacher after I am the one who completed the training to assist and she hasn't any experience doing so.

So, I asked admin why the assignment of the student teacher to the other facilitator and was told it works with the student teacher's schedule, so she can just keep working in position she is in. I now get it. The student teacher isn't really student teaching and the administration knows I am not willing to lie to the college advisor, but the family friend has no problem doing so as gets stipend to "supervise" the student teacher.

Well things have a way of working themselves out and I will not jeopardize my morals and convictions. It is only a matter of time before the dominoes start to tumble.

Perhaps the first domino did fall. Boss's son, who just became engaged, chose to sleep with daughter of family friend. (All work together) Boss's wife and family friend now not talking and one of the teachers quit and is moving as can't handle working across hall from boss's son she slept with. It has made the workplace more awkward, but bit quieter.

It is like a soap opera at work. I'm so glad I can just observe drama and am not part of it.

Hilarious, that just made me laugh. Because what drives such eager people will also often lead to their own demise. Where I work everyone sleeps with everyone, it is just disgusting. They try to approach me and they just don't realize that there still are people with real morals and convictions.

Nepotism at work is hard, I have worked in so many departments where my work has been the best, only to see how bosses use personal grudges to uplift the spirit of co workers who have low moral, are disobedient, and simply do not do good work. To begin fighting about something like that would be like a war that never ends.

As a female it is worse, when males strut around at work wanting to prove to all the women what they are made of (which comically they think can only be achieved physically, that just cracks me up). And then they notice that one woman (usually me) that is not impressed by the rooster that likes to impress all the hens. And then they always attempt to somehow criticize my work, trying to undermine me.

Seriously, it is so stupid, sometimes I could just cry and laugh at the same time.
