What Are You Grateful For Today?

Very thankful for the admins who are trying to help me figure out how to load a photo of the sun for @C j!

Thankful for my girlfriends who are listening to me and trying to help me wade through deep waters of despair and fear regarding the legal side of working through my mom's estate and also how to navigate what I've got on deck with my dad and step-mother. Good grief, those two need a reality check. Um, I just lost my mother who I laid down my life for and now I'm fighting a legal WWIII with a sheerah of a sister?! Can I have a little space and time to grieve and heal?

Also, very grateful for the broker and attorney who are also trying to help me navigate legal and financial issues, and who are on my side in this. Seriously thankful for them!

I have a special place in my heart for all of those people who doesn't even know me, except through business, who have reached out and shared condolences and offered support and care. The folks at the hotel where I stayed when I flew up there gave me a card, signed by the staff, expressing care and support. Every insurance company I've had to call, the bank, the government, etc... all have been so very kind. Really amazing considering what I've got going on in my own biological family. I still haven't gotten a condolence from my own dad who tells me he loves me more than I could know. Hmmmm.

Finally getting my hair cut short!

@gizmo - Did you go from long hair? I've been contemplating this, but it's so easy to just "twig" back my hair in a scrunchie (yes, 80's holdover) that I haven't. I did cut some bangs in for variety, but now they drive me crazy as I have to curl them and then spray them back!! What's a girl to do? So, cutting short - yes, no? I've kind of always envied guys who can jump in the shower, suds up, spry off, run a comb through their hair and then go.
