Something for everyone, I guess... where all the messed up shit goes.

I was reading today how two Australians have sought asylum in Iceland, I think it was, as they're transgendered and are claiming they were beaten by police in Sydney and fear for their life. They fear so much, they seem to be the only two in Australia who believe another country who has actual refugees from war and dictators, should take them, as they feel that country has no issues against transgendered persons.

Well f*ck me. Apparently two total morons think racial prejudices and discrimination does not exist in all countries. Idiots.

Funnily enough, on another note, it seems younger Australians are now leaning more towards China as their allied partner, than America.

Australians' trust in United States falling

Interesting. I found it just ludicrous that people believe China will be Australia's threat in the next 20 years. Ummm... China has so much investment in Australia, China is not a wartime threat to Australia, China loves how much land we have and love that Australia accepts Asians so readily into our culture. They come here and prosper... why the hell would they be a military threat.

If anything, China will be a military ally to us if anyone just asked them. I'm sure they would love to have the strategic access here that we provide the US currently. If anything, Australia will be pushing America from our shores as an ally in the coming years based on younger generations ideas about who is better for our country.

Interesting to watch generational change.

Don't be fooled by the Chinese allure. They will come in and invest heavily in your real estate and you will walk up one morning and realize they are so heavily invested they effect your daily economy. Then, they begin to push their trade import agenda and the next thing you know 2/3rds of everything in your home says "Made in China." They have a global business plan and it is like a cancer. They care nothing about the people and only about how much of their stuff they can sell there. It's about export to them...I say them as in the large global government and business of China. The ordinary people just want to work but their livelihood depends SOLELY on export and the US is unable to sustain them like we used to. Plus now that there is a new sheriff in town, they are not seeing the amount of export to this country that they saw in recent years.

Already is that way.
2/3rds of everything in your home says "Made in China.
Pretty much that way already.
They care nothing about the people and only about how much of their stuff they can sell there
That isn't true. China is doing things much better than America, much better than most of us, for what is a regime and all. You have to remember, most brands you buy, they went to China, setup there, operate there with Chinese labour, and then export back to their native countries. It isn't China doing anything, other than prospering, because they have a super good model in place if you want to setup in their country.

It goes something alone the lines off:
  • You must be invited to setup there, so you need to establish business ties in their country first.
  • A Chinese company / person must own (I think it is) 60% of the company setup within China.
  • You must hire (I think it is) around 80% of Chinese workers to continue business.
There are others, and that is from memory. Those figures likely are a little off without me going researching, which I don't care that much about. That's just trying to remember discussion with family who have such ties in China and operate certain things.

The ordinary people just want to work but their livelihood depends SOLELY on export and the US is unable to sustain them like we used to.
This just comes back to that global economy issue again. America just finally woke up to what countries like Australia already have in place, where you have to manage your own internal manufacturing to some degree, thus regulate it with laws. Collapse your entire manufacturing, you collapse about 30% of your economies workforce (on average -- the blue collar).

You must remember, China and Australia is very different than China and America. Australia is part of Asia Pacific, China is part of our region and not viewed as a threat, but a partner to us. We embrace them, they embrace us, we both regulate each other. Australian politics have regulated the crap out of Chinese influence here over the past years, and they will continue as times change. As China have done to us and others within their country. They have a good model... it would be insane not to learn from the good parts of their economy. Yes, they have shitty parts too, like slave labour nearly capitalising on the poverty stricken to work for dollars an hour.

Australias economy is just out of control. We have the most expensive housing in the world, the most expensive cost of living nearly in the world. It all needs to be reigned in here too. Our country is the same as most, fighting this globalisation issue since the Internet arrived, trying to see what happens, what negative affect is generated, then attempt to make laws around it to cover our countries needs. Every country is in this process right now I think.
