If i could have a spirit guide, it would be a .........

I know my two kitty cats are my spirit guides. I actually have had hallucinations/visions that showed me who they really are. I know that I was in a different state of consciousness but my kitties, Fiona and Jasmine, are the only reason I am alive and get up every day. Sometimes I would be angry that I love them so much because I have wanted to end my life but can’t because I know that I’m the only one who loves and protects them like no one else would.

I don’t believe in much but I know they save me each and every day.

Definitely love Eagles. We have quiet a few out near by where I live and occasionally on my motorcycle rides I'll see them flying or perched and just seeing them feels majestic. Also got love for the hawks. So I would say a hawk or an eagle. Whenever I see either it seems to me like a good sign. Lets me know I'm on the right road. ;)

I work with a Shaman. She taught me how to take a shamanic journey to non-ordinary reality. This where my spirit guides came to me. My primary guide is wolf. He takes me on journeys. Other guides that come to me are hawk, swan and an indigenous man. Also a blue faerie. In upper world I have a celestial guide name Sera. Hawk flies me up there.
In ordinary reality my guide is my dog who is able to sense when I need her to tend to me
On my leg is a wolf sitting with a blue fairie who is holding a baby (me).

Each one reach one teach one....each animal that crosses my path, be it in real life, on a material item, or in a dream state is my guide and teacher.

Snails are what I remember most vividly from my childhood years. I was always working to save them from getting stepped on along our sidewalk and would take them to my hidden hedge spot and talk to them and watch them slowly move along with their day.

Wolves are the first animal I recall feeling a deep connection with in the dream state and having them appear everywhere in material things.

The ones that visit here very often each year, keep me well advised, keep me company, and keep me entertained are: red-tailed hawks, turkey vultures, crows, blue birds, cardinals, fly catchers, purple martins, robins, blue jays, wrens, blue herons, starlings, juncos, whippoorwills, squirrels, bears, foxes, lady bugs, bees of all varieties, ants, dragon flies, deer, coyotes, dogs, cats, snakes, slugs, earthworms, flutter bys, moths, and I'm sure I'm forgetting some....but those are some of my favorites. :)

The red-tailed hawk and the vultures are the two that make themselves seen the most during my most deeply troubled/most confusing times. I sat down and cried for quite a while the day I found a primary wing feather left behind by my hawk buddy in the garden. I had gone to smudge the new business of a dear friend the day before, but didn't use a feather because I'd been waiting to find one, and had made it a point to visit each spot I'd see them in, to no avail. But that following day, while I was mowing and not looking for one, I noticed it out of the corner of my eye. The day after that, I found a crow feather during my walk. My friend said, "Aha. Apparently you've just been promoted." lol The crows definitely don't dig the presence of the hawks, and they let us know very loudly each time they cross paths on the land.

I consult with my deck, my pendulum, my heart, and/or my preferred meditative state to figure out the message(s) they bring when they visit. On the days I already feel a strong sense of peace, I tend to simply enjoy the present of their presence, as I feel the message has already been received, if that makes sense. A priceless connection that I give thanks for daily. Thank you for bringing it up. :)

A shaman told me my spirit animal but said I shouldn’t share it.

I think a jokey spirit animal would get a bat, swooping high and lie seemingly erratically and blindly, testing things out by squeaks and sonar and being both a bit grotesque and a little cute.

Ups and downs, ups and downs

Mine would be a barred owl.
  • "The Barred Owl gets its name from the bar-like marks on its feathers. This is a strong symbol of protection, not a jail. Barred Owls know where their personal boundaries lie and they show this to others through a physical expression, radiating out self-respect." - Tanya Casteel

I cannot choose between the cats that have been in my life and made it worth living. So I would choose...
I love cats and have two. They sleep with their paws touching me. My newer one, likes to climb on my head and rest....while I'm sound asleep. That's too up close and personal....and I feel suffocated...she literally will flop on my head. But when moved aside, she stays right there on the pillow. Good protectors.

I love crows. I see them all the time and they're cawing outside my apartment in the morning. They'r...
I raised a baby crow once. It was an awesome experience. It became attached...and pooped everywhere on my porch. It wanted to be with me all the time, and was unhappy when I would go inside. In the fall, more crows came and befriended it. It didn't exactly sound like a crow...and at first, the crows stayed far away in the trees at the back of the lot. They called to my crow to join them. In the fall I went back to work...and the crow made friends. One day, Nevermore the Crow, didn't come home when called. I cried, but was glad he was with his kind. Crows are smart, cool birds.
