I wanted to share this video (which is a political announcement by the Ontario government) that was released today. Apparently there is a huge cash sum of, well, a lot of money being injected into the mental health field here in Ontario -- or at least that is the idea. I have to be honest, I am not such a trusting fan of the decision makers in mental health or any government agency to be honest.
However, I sit on one of the boards that they reference in this video. The woman in charge works tirelessly and is a real champion. I have a great amount of respect for her and all the other peers that attend these meetings, hashing out issues that the government is asking from peers in the health system.
