My grandparents took me to the county fair when I was 2 or 3. I remember walking through the mud and being fascinated but terrified of the Clydesdales. I asked my grandpa about it a few months ago and he confirmed.

I remember lots of stuff but it's very compartmentalized. It's almost like 2 or 3 different childhoods. One is like going to school and seems normal and one is all about sex and I can't remember when because the timelines don't match and I don't know what happened when or I can't put it together. One seems to have nothing to do with the other.

I was 2. But it wasn't a "bad" memory. My insiders talk about stuff from age 3 on, but I don't personally have any memory of bad stuff until my teen years.

I remember lots of different things about Germany when my father was stationed there when I was...
My first memory is when my Father was stationed in Germany too!

Riding in a wagon in Germany...bumpy as all get out! My Mom pulled it. A little red one.

I was 18 months old. I remember crawling under my grandma's console TV that was in the corner of her living room. I was on the floor and saw something hanging down to the floor behind it. I crawled underneath (this was in 1951 and the TV's were large like pieces of furniture then.) and grabbed the cord and stuck it in my mouth. It just happened to of been a live electrical cord. As soon as it hit my mouth all I remember is this huge white explosion in my head. I remember nothing else, but my parents told me it knocked me out for 2 hours and grandmas just laid me on the couch and didn't think to call the family doctor. I ended up with a burnt mouth and I still have scars inside my mouth.

My son can remember back to when he was about 15 months old, while sitting in his stroller, at a zoo.

My first memory (that I can date) was from when I was nine months old.

My memory remains overly clearly afterwards, even surrounding some head injuries! (Not others.)

Doctors tell me this increased my chance of developing PTSD, but there is no scientific literature that supports this (not yet, they say, but why did they think so without literature?).

I have a memory of imagining I was riding on top of a ceiling fan. When around 4 or 5 I started to wonder if that was possible. I asked my mom and she seemed stunned I would ask. I said I was absolutely certain she had. Apparently I spent hours staring at the ceiling fan in our kitchen (before I started crawling), and I must've imagined I was riding on it.
