Yes, I’m not dating someone new and it does indeed feel wonderful!
We’ve known each other for 7 months now and he’s been quite flirty with me for the last few months. He also visited me almost every day when I was in the hospital. I had a feeling that he liked me from almost the beginning but I thought perhaps I was reading too much into it all.
He’s been quite supportive of me through this recent downturn. It’s nice having someone who accepts me as I am without wanting to fix me. It’s nice having his support.
We spent much of Saturday together, and the topic of “us” came up. Neither one of us wants to lose the friendship and support aspect, so we agreed to take it day by day and just stay “friends” for now....note “friends” in quotes as there’s no denying the feelings between us. ;) It’s nice being able to just keep it between us for now....at least in theory, lol. People in the hospital assumed he was my boyfriend, my husband, my special someone, based on how we interacted.
So for now, it feels good to just live in the moment and enjoy whatever it is that we have between us. It’s nice to spend time with someone who understands and doesn’t pressure me for more.
I like not dating someone new. :)
