The journey begins ... or continues ... articulating the rollercoaster that is my life

My 23 yr old son just texted me. He's coming home, from Melbourne, today. I am cleaned out, as he asked for money to get home. I am happy to though, I wanted him to draw on me, sometimes, that is in the form of money.

My daughter did the same last week, after me and my youngest son had lent her the money for America, she needed cab money to get to the airport. Man, it ended being the same! $250.00! which is much less in greenbacks.

Luckily my working youngest son was able to help. And my working guy will pay him back for that when he gets more work.

I paid two fines last week. We forgot to vote in the last state election. I ended up paying $320.00 last week for that. Ouch.

I won't freak out about being broke. We have a new second hand registered car which means my guy can get more work and he won't lose his license, which would have been cancelled today if I haven't paid that fine for him.
We should have gotten out of the fines, but that the nature of our "disabilities"-sonetimes.

Sometimes we don't get it together and we lose money and sometimes our kids are costly, but that's having children, for you, and I am crazy enough to want more!!!!

I just can't get work though, I just can't do it.

Luckily, my therapy isn't charged to my account.

I should just accept that I'm not in a financial position to procreate, again, but it's not logic that leads my desires, it's biology and temperament.

Plus, I am a Christian, like, very much a Christian. Not a church christian, a Jesus Christian.

I bounced back from my little flare up pretty quickly. Last year my Dad staying kind of gutted me. Luckily I had a inpatient date with a trauma program scheduled.
This year, that is not an option and I am.determined not to need it again .

I find, with yoga, staying home lots, and the years and years of therapy, my supplements, and my kid's coming back to me and also surviving their dad and CSA and sharing with me, drawing on me, loving me and forgiving me, but most of all, it's my faith, It's totally true that you can "Ask and you shall receive".
I pray and my prayers get answered. It doesn't make life perfect, but it sure makes it livable.
I prayed about my boys; my 29 and 23 yr old recently, and things are working out better, a lot better, since I did.

I couldn't DO anything at the time, BUT pray (and practise yoga).

It seemed to do more than just alleviate my emotional distress and dysregulation because, within days, both of them contacted me and I was able to really be there for them.

This is so healing for me!!!!

We forgot to vote in the last state election. I ended up paying $320.00 last week for that.
You get fined if you don't vote? Damn I'd love to see that in the states! We ended up with a reality tv star as a president because on average less than 50% of adults vote in the big election, and only about 30% in the little ones.'
Although I guess forcing people to vote won't really help - not like they would do the work to find out who they are voting for... sigh.

Yeah, I guess you could still have deep state regime-changers (in other countries) with deep stakes in places like Ukraine, China, etc, still, instead of the guy who doesn't even take a wage and is rooting out corruption and getting hated on by the media, hollywood, (otherwise known as pedowood) and the career politicians who are part of the deep state/globalist empire building, corrupt CIA run swamp - promoting division and contempt-for- actual-democracy and who have a propoganda machine (your mainstream media), who really undermine your democratic system and the wonderful values that made your country one that so many want to move to or live in.

You could, instead, have a president who promotes war in other countries and picks fights with Russia, while helping sell Uranium to them, like the one who worked in the white house, that he ran against last time, who slopped the countries political secrets in a gmail account that (I believe it will come out, that) ended up in the hands of China and was covered for by countless non-elected deep state officials, was "up for business" with her and her husbands"foundation" that attracted billions from other countries (hmmmm, that's not going to be a "conflict of interest, is it?) .

I wish we were a Republic and had an awesome, individuals-freedom-protecting constitution like you guys do.

I wish we had a Trump. Please don't hate me, but I keep up with US politics everyday and I think your "reality tv star" his family, and administration and the trump and democracy supporting republicans, independant media, the Q team and patriots, who love your democracy and constitution, are doing a BRILLIANT job.

You guys are the gateway and forerunners of the free world, the new world, of true democracy and individual freedom and, sorry never trumpers, if you read this, please don't hate me, I love POTUS Donald J Trump, for COUNTLESS reasons and I'm happy to elaborate or debate or discuss if you want to but please don't hate me!!!!

I've watched him campaign for the 2016 election and listened to countless speeches, his addresses to African Americans, Hispanic Americans, his Military speech on D day in France. He has made me cry, with his warmth, and genuine regard for people everywhere, for freedom, for peace, for prosperity, for your amazing armed forces, that keep the rest of us safe from dictatorships and oppression, even here in Australia, safe from the likes of China and Islamic Indonesia.
We get career politicians who sell us out to China and corporate lobbyists, so I'll take your nationalistic, brash, self-funded, tweeting, populist, Reality TV star, who is taking down the elite-orchestrated "New World Order" anyday, if I could, anyway.

No worries! :) I love talking with people about what they think. It's kind of a rarity here these days but then we've always had the rule -- It's not polite to discuss politics, religion or how much money someone makes

American politics are insane to begin with and one of the worst things to happen over the last 10 years or so is that we cant have discussions about them anymore. Everyone has to be right - and not believing the same way some one else does is simply not allowed. Instead of having a conversation about beliefs you become The Enemy.

You guys are the gateway and forerunners of the free world, the new world, of true democracy and individual freedom
We used to be but not for a long time. Because for a democracy to truly work people have to be involved. They have to get off their asses and actually vote and they have to know what they are voting about. People here no longer educate themselves about what is going on (and that's both sides). They rely on Facebook and Twitter to get their information - and think if it's said there it must be true. "

The really sad thing is that the level of hate in this country is just insane and our culture has embraced it as a way of life. "They" make rules for "others" but don't apply those same rules to themselves. Think about the whole "send them back" debacucle. Seriously? Our first lady is an immigrant who came here on a green card - but that doesn't apply to her. Just "the others"

Then add the rise of the Neo Nazis, the Christian Taliban, the fake news crowd, the conspiracy junkies, the gun crowd, out of control racism, our kids killing each other in schools -- it's never ending. We are totally screwed because we are so busy fighting about who is to blame for the problems we cant find solutions. There is no middle ground -- or middle class-- and it's just getting worse. I honestly believe that if trump gets impeached or loses in 2020 we will be headed for a civil war because we are so divided -- and then that's the end of our democracy.

Firstly, I think you underestimate how important your impact is, on the world as a whole, even with all this infighting and division. For a country with as much divisity as yours, with how many people and cultures within cultures and states and country, you guys are still amazing, although, admittedly, you are definitely going through a rough patch, at the moment.

Those of us who truly appreciate the US's example and leadership, not the corruption that set in, in recent times, but the Spirit and Freedom of the peoples, and with freedom you are going to get ALL sorts of people saying everything under the sun, without fear of gov retribution, in contrast to nations, like China, or the majority of Islamic nations.

Not long ago we, here in Au, had Chinese Military ships just mozzy in on to our Sydney Harbour, uninvited. Our (also) corrupt media tried to cover it up and downplay it, but it was China flexing its muscles and posturing in a bullying way towards us. Luckily, we are your Allies, and US ships made their way into the vicinity to show China, the US has our back, and we patriots, (but maybe not leftys, we are infected with virtue signalling hypocrites here too, I used to be one of them, so I know the mind set well) admire what the US stands for and protects today.

Not the Empire building, economic hitman CIA deep state globalists that Trump is taking on, but the true diverse peoples, the freedom fighting democracy that took a stand against slavery and classist, engrained inequality and led the way into a world where individual rights are sovereign and fought for.

With regards for the "send them back", I presume that is in reference to the POTUS's response on twitter to freshmen congress women Rep Talib and Rep Omar? I think that statement needs to be taken in context, which your mainstream media is not to be trusted to do.

In response to the things these politicians were injecting into the political discourse, which were pro extremist Islam (particularly in reference to Rep Omar, "some people did something" minimization of the 9/11 terrorist attack, her pro Al Kiaeda (sorry if spelling is wrong) bias, which I've seen for myself and the both of them Anti America, and anti Semitic rhetoric and policy pushes, he actually said "they should go back and fix the problems" in the cultures of their family of origin, Islamic cultures, "and then COME BACK" and show America how to fix the problems in the US, which is not the same thing as being anti Immigrant, by any means.

It was about their political rhetoric, and not about them being of non white or immigrant origin.

I have never seen any evidence to support the "racist" allegations, only your media dishonestly taking things he says out of context.

In fact, the wall building boundary enforcing policies of your current administration is only truly supportive of the minority peoples, such as black communities and law abiding Hispanic peoples and designed to protect US citizens from economic disenfranchisement, Mexican criminal cabal violence and people and drug trafficking, and favours the solving of your homelessness problems, plenty of which are vets, as you know and mentally ill and drug addicted US citizens.

POTUS and his wife are working hard to solve the drug addiction epidemic, which is a major part of the homelessness and endemic poverty and crime problems, by curtailing the imports from the mexican border and also China.

His tax cuts have been a brilliant strategy to boost your economy and employment for minorities and women has lifted, as a result. In fact Ivanka Trump works tirelessly, not paid, I.might add, to boost women's financial freedom and opportunities, as well.

So which political side is really pushing a "racist" agenda?
Anyway, just my two cents from my own research. US politics is a "special interest" of mine.
As for impeachment, I think this is just a coup attempt by democrats (who really aren't interested in upholding the precious democratic process that maintains your constitution, at all, ironically) who are scared that their corrupt dealings in the Ukraine are being uncovered, Nancy Pelosi, Adam Schiff, John Kerry, as well as Biden, all have investments in the previous corrupt Ukrainian administration's regime and the Ukraine voted in President Zelenskyy on an anti corruption platform, just like US citizens voted duly elected POTUS Trump on an anti corruption platform.

In fact, the Ukrainians were already fighting this and had investigations underway and could not get US help previously, which is why they approached Rudy Gulliani, actually, so the Quid Pro Quo allegation has absolutely no standing what so ever, and the desparate Dems haven't a chance in hell of getting the impeachment through the senate, which.is republican maj anyway.

It won't stop the congress dems and the lefty media, though, as it's all about optics and trying to propaganda their way into taking him down in the next election. It won't work.

Remember, we have Durham and Barr's reports into the meddling in the last election with the cooked-up, Soros and Clinton paid-for Sleele Dossier and the illegal spying on Trump election team members, to come out yet.

I'd say that the corrupt Dems and their media cohorts's gooses are cooked, long before your next election.

Mum's - don't really care at all where individuals stand on US politics, but...are you okay? There's a strong and very sudden, seemingly somewhat unbalanced interest in US politics and it seems incredibly unusual for you to suddenly come out with rhetoric like this.

Given the situation around you at the moment (the bushfires aren't exactly going to quit any time soon, you've had a lot of stressors from family, a recent tragic miscarriage, and on and on)...

In no way am I suggesting it's odd that you have an opinion on US politics. I don't even particularly mind that you've become somewhat conservative compared to where you were when we first met.

But the zealousness with which you're suddenly coming out as a loud and proud US/Trump supporter...it seems very (a) unlike you; (b) unusually timed given the potential fight for your property that's daily bearing down upon you and the stress that must be adding to your already incredibly stressful year.

It's not that we aren't entitled to strong opinions when we have cptsd, it's just when things seem to suddenly shift for a person - the question needs to be asked, by someone who genuinely cares - are you okay?

I don't want to come off as patronising, but this bushfire thing? It's something else entirely. It's an experience unlike anyone has ever lived through. And I know you're vulnerable where you are.

So, I just want to check in, and see if you're checking in with yourself, honestly - are you okay?

Be gentle with yourself, and keep your loved ones close and safe:hug:

Thanks for the concern @Sideways. But I'm actually the same person I was before I started posting here. Like I said, I watched the pre-election rally's and made up my own mind, based on the actual words and actions of the individual being discussed, and have occasionally said things on this site that are completely consistant, with what I'm saying, here, to Freida.

Which I only brought up because she did, being the extremely contentious and emotive topic that it is.

I'm a post lefty. Being raised with the socialist and victim-virtue politics that's so popular today, my Dad was/is a academic and my mum went to uni and studied sociology, at my Dad's encouragement and became a feminist/free-lovin' hippy and so I'm very much the product of lefty political world views. That's why I'm actually informed about corruption and who's actually intent on usurping freedom's and individual's personal power, as limited as that may be.

Yes, you may forget that I'm an.Aspie, @Sideways, and as such, have strong, individualistic interests and fields of study, which are, very often, unpopular to speak of, in the neurotypical world of "group think".

I've studied culture and and been politically active from a very early age, I've studied it in uni too. So my views are actually the product of many, many years of investigation into the workings of power in the world and, as such, I became a Christian, due to inner revelations and informed contemplating, and realised that the, very popular cultural Marxism, of today, which fuels much of the lefts rhetoric, is counterproductive to stability and the inner transformation and personal responsibility, that underpins the Christian ethos, that has created and will hopefully, into the future, create truly tolerant, peaceful, anti-classist and anti-corrupt culture and society(s).

Democratic Capitalism with a strong Charity-based Christian-ethos foundation offer the best system for peaceful prosperity and innovation and equity thus far (in my opinion), demonstrated by the throngs of would-be migrants that flock to cultures built on those foundations.

Nationalism builds healthy societies, not globalist elite dictated "open borders" funded by Soro's billions and the Rothchild's banking empire with their cronies and minions.

I'm also a greenie that wants real, scientifically grounded non-vested interest environmental polices and, unfortunately, that's not what's being offered by the left, at this time. But I won't go into that, now.

Trump had me at his pulling out of the would-have-been disastrous Tran Pacific Partnership - pro-corporation, anti little people agreement that we Aussies would have been shafted by, and his real ending of the cold war, as well as his stance on getting out of the endless, deep state instigated, middle eastern wars that the CIA Bush/Clinton/Obama regime perpetuated for waaaay too many years at US citizen's, and everybody else's detriment.

As for our safety and peace of mind here?

The fire, here, has been downgrounded to "being controlled" which is a big relief, as apposed to the previous weeks "out of control" grading.:) So that's good :).

Nothing particularly aspie or abnormal about having strong opinions. It's all good, I just wanted to check in with you - some of the commentary seemed out of kilter with where you're at atm, IRL. If this is just you being you then that's awesome:)
