We still have a vertical trend in terms of new infections but the government has attributed almost all of these to contact with newly arrived o/seas contact with infected persons. The authorities are still tracing each infected persons movements to alert people to the fact that they may have had contact with an infected person. So it seems that this is still worthwhile. They are not abandoning these activities so that's a good thing I think.

Yep. Being a big island, isolated from the world, we should have simply closed borders months ago. All citizens that wanted to return have to go into a forced Government controlled isolation (Christmas Island or such measures) where they have no choice. None of this self isolation, trust, rubbish. People are idiots and selfish. Trust is not in the human vocabulary when it comes to such harsh measures. People excuse away their actions regardless.

This is out of control and will continue that path IMHO, until it has run its course and a real treatment is available. Until then... we just have to now wander our way through this shit and see who's left at the other side.

^No! Imo not true. Made up. Various aspects of human nature are dramatically emphasised but most ppl I know are calm, doing the social distancing, self-isolation thing and taking it seriously. I don't know of anyone who is doing 'losing their sh*t". If they are where you are, please avoid it all and stay calm yourself.

Psh. Wheee do you live? Orlando-ers are throwing f*cking parties with many people collecting all in the same space. I drove home from work and the neighbors across the driveway had buckets out where I needed to drive doing a toss in the bucket with a rice filled thing. Who touched that last? I mean, they might as well be swapping spit with each other.

When I took my service dog out for the night 3 other neighbors were throwing paries.

I get people need to keep theirselves busy and occupy the time but f*cking social distance for god f*cking sake! 6 feet. It feels like everyone is like "ya, no work, lets party".

I guess it doesnt help that Im right on the line of the gutter and its a 5 min walk to get herion (I know that due to an ex roommate that died due to her addiction).

The rest of the people here are totally loosing their shit. Where the f*ck is food? Not every american needs a month's worth of food. Toliet paper? If only those that need to querarine bought food for, say, a month, the shelves wouldnt go empty the min they are stocks.

I mean this whole thing is a shit storm and I agree with anthony, its out of control. That's why we have this mandate of a stay at home order from 11pm Thurs to April 9th. Because people cant seem to figure out to distance themselves on their own!

Just realized I don't know what to do with my dog if I have to go to the hospital. Don't even know. I can't just have someone come get her like I normally would. My home is not someplace anyone can be since I am under quarantine. Googling to see what people do but can't find anything online. This is a conundrum. I am hoping the hospital trip isn't needed, but symptoms are close to that range. Doing everything to stay at home. A hospital in a pandemic is a horrible place to be for many reasons. It really is an option of last resort. If I go, it will be because the shortness of breath got too bad to manage at home.
