That's a dangerous thing to say :D

Here's what worked for me (I never tire of telling the story):

Feel the muscles that are tense and thus telling you that you're scared. Relax those muscles. Tell yourself that you don't need to be scared (to manage this situation). Do this whenever you realise you're scared. When your brain doesn't get fear feedback from the body it will go "Oh, so there's no reason to be scared after all?" and stop trying to freak you out.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed in a relaxed, not fear related manner.

I had that letter this morning. The thank you for attending the interview, unfortunately on this occassion you were not successfu, the applicant field was strong blah blah blah.

I had a dance audition the next day and screwed up the 5th step in the whole thing. Lol, so I know exactly how you feel. You will have another good job again!
