Your Worst Cooking Disaster

Worst Cooking Disaster. Wild goose, BBQ spit. Fat started pouring out of the Goose, feeding the fire. I turned the BBQ off to no avail. Flames kept getting higher. Eventually I gave up and took the goose off the BBQ so at least I could get the fire under control. Ruined a pefectly good bird and set the neighbors fire detector off. At least the vinel siding on the house didn't melt, although that was just luck, not good planning on my part.

Hubby and I have only ever made one meal neither of us could eat.

We both decided that a lemon chicken dish was just right for a bit of a special meal together, just because we could.

So there it was all smelling delicious and looking soooo good on the plates, all succulent and ready to eat.

Tia Lemon Chicken. :)

We had 2 mouth fulls each and the bin ate the rest, HOT was not the word, to us it was mind blowingly hot.

Such a shame and to waste all the chicken.

When my son was little, the parents were suppose to provide the drink and/or snack for the baseball team. Well it was my turn to provide the drink and I decided upon Kool Aid. Went to the store and found the Kool Aid on sale! I was so excited and I mixed it up in the 5 gallon cooler. The little boys lined up and got a cup, but the grimaces on their faces were horrible and then the grass was turning red as the Kool Aid was poured out. Thought they didn't like the flavor and when I tried it....I didn't like the flavor either. Seems that someone forgot to tell me that Kool Aid comes in sweetened and unsweetened. Yes, the kind I bought was less expensive because it had no sugar in it! Doh!

Okay, I just find this completely alarming, lol!

Mine: was making a stove top icing recipe that called for mixing in a 1lb bag of powdered sugar into a pot on the stove with a hand mixer. I had the mixer in my right hand and the bag of sugar in my left. I somehow managed to get a piece of plastic caught in a beeter, which yanked the thing out of my hand. With a nice big, "WOOF" sound, the entire bag wound up exploding all over my kitchen. It was all OVER. I looked like I'd been caught in a snowstorm. In the hair, caked all over my face... When we replaced the vent hood there was still powdered sugar stuck up in it.

I baked my mum a birthday cake when I was young with electric blue icing. Her and Dad manfully ate a slice but to be honest, the cake would have made a better football. Rubbery is an understatement. Few years ago I put some eggs on the hob to boil. Took the dogs out for a walk and came back to find the eggs had exploded and I was picking egg off the walls for sometime after. Totally forgot about them.
