It was raining earlier and now it's stopped and the sun is out. The temps are 46F or 8C. Unreal temps for December weather for this area.

Is that filled with feathers, I wouldn't be able to use it as it upset my asthma.

Hailstone here this evening and we had a mini power cut where all the power went off for about 10 mins and had to ferret about for the candles!

Kind of freaked my budgie out too Wife of, then she thought it was bed time when the power went off LOL.

Wind up torches,we have three dotted around the house for such an event. God help my son if we ever have a power cut. I think he has only ever experianced one when he was about eight,. If we had one now he would think it was the apocalypse,he's permanently got some electronic device hanging about him...

That goes for my sons too. I clearly remember the power cuts in the 70's, wow, they were something. (Showing my age now LOL).

68 and sunny today but last night there was frost on the ground. strange for december... i wish it would pick a temperature! all this change makes me sick (literally - sniff!)

Me too.....and the paper strikes. All that green stripey computer info to draw onin school and a cut up echo in the loo...

Mum used to bake a lot of bread around '76 due to the bread/flour strikes...

I remember those! I also remember my Dad's tropical fish swimming to the bottom of the tank where there was more oxygen because there was no power to power the oxygen pump! And making toast in front of the fire!
