Ok Mods, What's With The Moons?

Well it is said that the moon controls the tides, and with so much water sloshing about in our brains, it could have an effect.

Yea, I understand why someone would go all hyperchondriac and go looking for pitty, etc. What I don't get is why this. Let's face it. PTSD has a pretty sucky stigma attached to it. It's a large part of what stopped me from seaking treatment for it for a very long time. If you were going to fake something for attention, I'd think something along the lines of, say... leprosy or ringworm might get them what they're after with a tad less social rejection.

I noticed the moons too but did not make the connection. People are always changing their avavtars around here. I just thought that is what it is.

I have had to take my daughter to emergency one full moon. All of the beds were full and we were put in a hallway. They said it was because it was a full moon. I will have to pay more attention around here.

You may notice some craziness or members who are crankier than usual, but honestly many of the problems are dealt with by staff before the rest of the forum is even able to see it.
