I had to got the post office today, so I posted the rest of the Christmas mail while I was there.

Tree goes up on Sunday, a few presents still to buy, then just the Christmas food to buy in and baking to do.

I am doing well this year for a change. :tup:

Oh dear, KP lowers her eyes in shame :oops:. The cake is there, unfortunately it is still in its disassembled state - flour, whole eggs, butter in fridge.......... :facepalm:

Now that I have my tree up I want the girls to decorate it. I will have a hard time getting them to come over and decorate. I will have to call my daughter and ask to pick up the girls and have them decorate it. It is pretty with just the lights on but I want it decorated. I will get up my nerve to call her this week.

I have to start wrapping the presents I bought. I made tags with the printer that are a larger, easier to read size. Started wrapping the kids presents in comics(just like in the old days), but I'm regretting this as the ink is rubbing off on my hands!

H and I usually do the tree the weekend following the 11th. The 11th is my daughters birthday and we always tried to keep birthday and christmas seperate.

However now she no longer lives with us and my other daughter is home this weekend, I will ask her if she wants to help us put it up on Sunday.

Already ran out of comics to wrap the children's gifts in. I only want to use the colored ones. Have to wait until next week to get more. I'm usually a patient person, but, for this, I absolutely hate waiting. I want to get it done and over with! I guess I should have chosen regular wrapping paper instead of going old school.
