Share Your Christmas Tree

This is my little tree, only 3 feet high (no wires required...lol) but it has a few nutcrackers, hummingbirds, and pixies.

Size isn't important ;). Anni, Venusian, I love your trees.

I like real trees but I can't stand the mess. The needles dropping isn't so much the problem, it is the dog continually standing next to the tree and wagging his tail into it, scattering needles everywhere and getting them stuck in his fur.

I've ordered more baubles for mine... we threw a lot out last year and its a bit bare.

Oh my, I LOVE the hummingbirds and pixies on white- it's just completely enchanting!! Gosh- there's something you don't see everyday, bet it gives people ideas! It wouldn't even work on a bigger tree, wouldn't be SO magical.

Oh heck Nicolette, your tree is loaded compared to my sister's. NOT the one with dreadful taste, the one who favours I guess what she feels is minimalist New England. Stark? Oi. First year she had one, we went there, she was all delighted, 'Come see my tree!'. Hee. There was one string of white lights and 3 white lace starched ornaments, I think a gingham star. We said Oh how nice but had to put a sweater on, so cold! To each his own of course- was just ITCHING to go get STUFF! Tasteful is great, Christmas demands the general impression that Santa's sleigh flew over and encountered enough turbulence to slide the entire top layer of goodies out of his bag and down onto your tree.

My tree has a theme, with the exception of the ornaments we received over the years and the kids ornaments. You would think I would find joy in those last two things, instead it bother's me that my tree's theme is shattered. I know, selfish. Depending on what size tree we get I might have to get another strand of lights.

Shattered? One year I did my tree in sections, handmade ornaments; kids etc.! It took some planning but was quite memorable when finished.

Spoke to my daughter tonight. She was excited that we will do the tree whilst she is here on Sunday and not wait until next week.

I am so happy, I get the girls on Saturday to decorate the tree. We have a ton of ornaments and use them all. Just hope the dog will leave them alone. The cat was knocking them off last year too. This is the first year of a tree for the dog. But as chew happy as she is I do not know what I will do if she gets to that.

I am thrilled that I will have the girls over and my daughter will have some me time. We will serve them hot chodolate and cookies. My daughter said thay would love me for that. I will get to share my tree here with my new camera. I am still a little nervous using it. I wish I was not afraid of technology.
