I am usually encouraging toward others. Now to apply it to myself is another issue all together.

I am really going for it with the cleaning today. I would have saved myself some stress if I had done it earlier in the week. But I am getting there.

From the first day I found this forum I've wanted to comment on this thread, but I didn't feel up to it. I think I'm ready today. The thing I like about myself is my determination.

I do not give up. I do not give in. When I want to do something I fight for it. The best example of this is the piano. I am completely self taught. I've had very little formal training and yet, I can play just about any piece of music put in front of me.

In the last couple of years, I've even taught myself to sing and play at the same time. I use my phone to record myself so I can monitor my progress. Some day, I will post a video for you guys, but I'm not quite there just yet.

Getting closer everyday, because I am determined.

This one is so hard for me. I'm getting better, but I always feel so yuck when I need to ask for help. I feel ashamed. I admire people who are strong enough to stand up for themselves and ask for help.
