Bum Wiping & Wet One's Aka Moist Towelette's

They have special wipes here just for the bum. Had my son use them as he was growing up. They dissolve even in septic tanks. Though, we have such old pipes sometimes they get stuck (I think it's because my son uses a handful!).

I think I need to take some on my dog walks, for the dogs, not me I hasten to add. Anyone elses dog end up with grass getting stuck in its bum :poop::wtf::yuck:

Kp, my dog has such long hair that sometimes a poo will stick in her hair, we can usually tell because she acts crazy (hard to always see), anyhow, my husband uses clorox wipes to get it off and all is well. Gross thinking but well.

Yes, this has become my daily humor fix! And can you imagine that a mod requested I keep it clean. The nerve, of course they were having fun at my expense. Smiling...Whitney

Because one day, whilst using some on my little bilby's botsa, I realised that the wipes had removed some of the nail polish from my fingernails.

They say you can make your own. I used the ones that were suppose to be free of dyes and detergents.

Do you have designs done on your nails, this is generally done with acrylic paint not polish! Those wipes sound dangerous for bums!

Saw this on facebook and thought of you Anthony. I don't know what it means when I think about you when I think of bum wipes but I had to share. :roflmao:

HOMEMADE BABY WIPES

Supplies:- Tall, round 3 Quart container with a lid
- Better quality paper towels (the cheap paper towels don't work well on a dirty bottom)
- Knife to cut the paper towel roll in two
- Baby shampoo
- Baby oil

Directions:
1. Cut a paper towel roll in half so you have two short rolls.

2. Set one roll inside the canister. Set the other half aside for next time.

3. Combine and stir together:
1 1/2 cup hot tap water
2 Tablespoon baby shampoo
2 Tablespoon baby oil

4. Pour the liquid mixture over the top of the paper towel roll. As the liquid soaks through, the moisture will loosen the cardboard center making it easy to pull out. If you get lucky, it will bring with it the end of the paper towel roll. If not, carefully pull on the wipes in the center to get the sequence going.

5. Pull out the amount of paper towels (from the center) that are needed. Reseal after each use.

6. If the wipes are not wet enough or the lid doesn't get put back on, just add more water. If the wipes are too moist, leave the lid off for a little while.

**If you are out of the diaper stage, these work great for cleaning up messy hands and faces when you are on the go. You can also use this mixture to re-wet purchased baby wipes!

I know I always think of Anthony's post now when I think of bum wipes. There is a new commercial here in the US.

These two women are standing in the bathroom and one says to others " hey sis, where do you keep your moist wipes", the other says she doesnt use them, the first steps into the shower and pretends she is washing herself. The sister asks "what are you doing", and she says, "Im taking a shower without water and soap, its like wiping without a wet wipe". I have only seen it one time. Surprised there are not more advertisements yet.
