Aaaarggggghhhhh ........ I Could Scream !!

As a few of you know as part of my self therapy I have been writing a new revamped Web-site for my local "Christians Together" movement. Well very short post, as I will be extremely busy for the next three days.

I came to off-line publishing the entire site last Monday. All 166 glorious pages for full presentation on Tuesday at 1400 hrs to the committee. Well just my luck eh, I published off-line to my internal browser, no problem ................... until I got to the link testing and lo and behold "MAJOR ISSUES". Embedded files on certain pages were totally corrupted and I am buggered if I can remember over 2 1/2 thousand files path's and off-on line web-links. Oh well 2 1/2 days to salvage what I can. Ho Humm. May not be on much over the weekend but wish me luck ......Please (in anticipation Tuesday comes and goes without any more hitches.)

Two and a half days to recover nearly six weeks work.

When I crashed 10 months ago and blamed everyone apart from myself for my illness, I forgot one key point. I am in control now at the age of 43 what happens to ME!. Day to day I walk this earthly plain and I make the decisions to cross the road or continue on the path to self-destruction. I have C-PTSD and it will take time for me to work through that recovery process. I trust the Lord and give my troubles to him and, YES I do find solace in prayer, and guidance now that I give all my troubles to him.

Quick update on the site.

No sleep for 48 hours and all wired mentally and YES I have broken the back of the rebuild. Scrapped nearly all Embeds as at least one was so badly corrupted I could not get the damn site to look right without tearing my flowing Auburn locks out (oh wait a mo I'm BALD!) Well if I had hair I would have been tearing it out.

So lack of sleep + strong c-w+3 x numerous and I am finally getting there. Just to find out that the guy with the domain and web-space won't pass over the details. Hmmmm best I get a new domain then lol.

Not letting this hiccup get me down. Off to the Sunday Pizza kitchen for the homeless and then back to the grindstone for Laurie I guess.

Glad you sound like you are getting on top of it and hope you manage to get some sleep and look after yourself too.

Three Gallons of soup - 2 dozen Pizza's, I forget how many sticky/cream cakes but to see the children's faces light up was amazing. I have always been a giver and cannot get my head round the "I need to be selfish for once and look after ME!". I can't do it I am sorry but I like to make others smile even in the smallest of ways.

Sunday night kitchen duties all done but apparently I am getting "Cheese in my eyes next time" shouted a very giggly little three year old as he stuffed thick crust cheese and tomato back, Then his brother comes up to me and says "Thanks for the Pizza mister you've got peppers in your pants!!. Am made up now for the next nights long slog at the web-site. Maybe some sleep tomorrow night eh. Gotta love being hyper all the time. :-)
