That's exactly the point. The 2 most common modern arguments against white privilege don't make sense. They're logical fallacies.
No racial privilege ... Because I'm not racist!
No racial privilege ... Because I grew up poor!
Is exactly like saying
There is no hunger problem ... Because I have plenty of food!
There is no hunger problem ... Because cancer patients, people on diets, dysentery, XYZABC people can't eat, either, and it's not because of this so-called "hunger problem".
They're emotional arguments, not logical ones. One is trying to negate the whole based off of individual experience, and logic doesn't flow that way (what's true for one, is not necessarily true for all)... and the other is a red herring using squares and rectangles. That there are worse things out there than hunger, or that cause hunger? Doesn't mean that hunger doesn't exist as a problem in its own right.
Or in this case... Poverty is associated with Racial Privilege, but Poverty exists as a problem in its own right. RP is a problem. Poverty is a problem. That poverty can exist on its own? Doesn't follow that RP doesn't exist. They can both exist. Either together, or as separate problems.
