Asked My Therapist Why He Sticks Around....

I've been challenging as of late, much like a willful 3yr old. Tantrums abound and I've been spilling my PTSD into every aspect of our time together. All the parts that make me hard to be around.

So, I asked him why he sticks around, when he could have sent me elsewhere. And this is part of the response I received:

"You are absolutely worth it and I want you to know that you deserve to be loved and valued, no matter what!"

He amazes me....the most interesting part of what he said? I actually believe him and he has remained honest, transparent and steadfast for the past 4yrs. He never wavers.

If we are told something often enough we can start to believe it....so glad that you have reached that stage!

I find acceptance/ forgiveness hard to grasp.

Though re:

I am thankful for good/ kind words when receiving so much of the opposite beliefs.

ETA I am trying to believe good words/ kindness too.
