Wow, here the stuff in our Dollar Stores cost $3. to $7. dollars.
At Walgreen's we can buy candy bars on sale for less then a dollar if you buy two of these together, which no longer would cost less then a dollar.
Gasoline is a sure bet, because while pumping it, one could simply stop doing so upon reaching .99 cents. :D
Dunkin Donuts might still sell a coffee for less then a dollar, but I don't think so.
Fish fillets at McDonald's are $4.19 so that exceeds $1.00.
I do believe, a single cookie from Subway would cost less than a dollar.
Generally speaking, saying: "Will you take a dollar for this?" at a yard sale, no longer suffices, however I'm thinking in some instances this can work, especially when others come to our yard sales.
Nearly all beverages cost between a buck and a half and two dollars, however thin plastic-no name water bottles and rows of medium sized processed, grocery store donuts do exist for .99 cents still. Oh there is always a single apple or orange or a few bananas that sell for less than a dollar.
And, of course though I suspect not as popular as the $2, $5, $10, $20. and higher scratch tickets there remains a $1. scratch ticket, as well as there being $1.00 lottery ticket purchases.
