19 Year Old Trauma

The 18th of April was the 19th year anniversary of my despondant husband committing suicide by cop.. because of our pending divorce.
Mostly its a lingering pain and I survive with my social mask.
This anniversary... our 21 year was dispondant...NO! I cannot fathom losing my baby girl too. We got through it this time.

I am so sorry you and your daughter are hurting so badly. I lost someone I loved to suicide. Our last conversation was a fight and he died a few hours later. I now know it was not my fault nor is it yours or your daughter's. I know that doesn't take away the pain but feeling responsible is so overwhelming and guilt can tear you apart. Has your daughter ever sought counseling?

He made a choice and he was very angry, I think and it was a way to punish you for separating I believe.

You are innocent and not at fault nor have any reason to feel guilty or responsible. He made his choice freely of his own will. No one twisted his arm or forced him to do that.

I wish you rest and peace in this terrible situation.
