As a long term survivor of the AS, I, of all ppl should know that there's good days and bad. Lately, I'm pretty good. That might change tomorrow. I might feel like absolute shit. I'm pretty sure that's what happens with my Vet.
Helplessly, my friends and my family have watched me weather the storm of chronic pain. It's really heartbreaking when your kids have to pull you out of bed in the morning because you are SO STIFF. But then again, it's not every day.
When I'm stiff and out of remission, you can't touch me without causing pain. Even if a massage hurts so good at the time but my body can't take it. Think of your Vet the same way. He might want you to rub his goofy little brain but can't take it. Just a thought
