Jeez, and Anthony spent so much time wondering about a thing like a Criterion A.
All our diagnostic problems are solved if we juust have PTSD Lite and PTSD Heavy.
And a pokemon like devolving of the second into the first until even PTSD Lite just poofs into thin air.

My understanding is that licensed marriage and family therapists as a category are dying out in the US, and that this is much of the problem. They may be good at relationship counseling, or at group work in some cases, but given the prevalence of mental health issues in the general population, and then adjusted for the demographic that would be presenting for marital counseling.... They end up working out of the depth easily.

That's not much of a problem until one of them decides of course they're qualified to not only address serious mental health concerns but to pose as an expert and goes and pulls something like this. Seriously, what on earth? How did Pysch Central ever let this through editing?

I get holistic approaches for people during therapy, but this version is on CRACK. It's therapy on Bath Salts.

I would still love to know WTF a family therapist is doing trying to poke her hypnosis arse into trauma and PTSD. With absolutely zero study or knowledge, she is writing about PTSD when her expertise is family / relationship therapy. If she had ever studied trauma, she would not have been learning hypnosis modalities, because the evidence is stacked against there use for trauma, instead you increase the chance of doing far more damage than any good.
