Administrator Change - Time For Change

hat I have spent the last couple of days trying to think of the right words to say, nothing sounds good, so I will just say how I feel.

I feel selfish. I cried when I first read the announcement. I don't like change and Anthony is like mysterious older brother you never met, but totally look up to and value his wisdom. So yeah, I am sad, despite logic telling me that the reasons are good ones, and that Anthony is doing more by setting a good example for us in putting his needs first.

I know logically that myself along with the whole site will adjust. We have JoeyLittle now, and had I been told to guess who Anthony would choose to replace him, I would have said Joeylittle, so that leaves us in still capable hands.

Still, Anthony's presence on the forums is going to be missed. I am slightl medicated atm so I hope this post comes out ok, since I gave up on my attempt to write something eloquent.

I am new here but I can say from the observations I've made this is definitely a place that has been created from a place of myriad of positive motivations and has been maintained with great care for others. @joeylittle congrats in your new role and thank you for taking on the challenges. @anthony and @Nicolette thank you for all your hard work, time and support you have invested into this site and community. @anthony good for you for recognizing what it is you need most right now and setting an example for all of us. Change is inevitable despite ones desires for things to remain predictable and the same. I look forward to see what positive outcomes will arise out of this. Thank you for creating this sanctuary. Cheers to all!

@anthony, I would just like to say to you, thank you for everything you've done by creating this community, without it I don't think I would have gotten through the bad times. You are an inspiration to many, a God send to all here and a role model.

I'm glad that you are scaling back and placing yourself first, you ARE that valuable and I appreciate everything you've done for us so far and will continue to do into the future.

I tip my hat to you, Sir. Thank You.

I'm in awe of what you have accomplished @anthony. God has done great work through you and made goodness out of madness. Your ability to step back and let go reveals deep wisdom and courage. Your commitment to self and others is inspiring. A thank you feels insignificant in this light, but is offered nonetheless!!!

Congratulations @joeylittle and thank you from the bottom of my heart for agreeing to continue the good work that is done here!!

What an accomplishment, @anthony , to see that your baby has grown up. As the saying goes, though, no epitaph has ever read "I wish I had worked more." Or harder. The professionalism, skill and decency that you have put into this site is second to none, and it has been a privilege and an honour to be a member here and to have "virtually" gotten to know a bit about you, Nicolette, and other members of this site. Now is your time.

To @joeylittle , I wish you all the best in your new role. While as @anthony says, you have your own style, you are calm, gracious and level headed. You will be a fine administrator, upholding the old wisdom, and no doubt, adding some of your own. A warm welcome, and congratulations. This site will continue to excel under your leadership.

Well done, the both of you!

The difference in Anthony already is amazing. While he's still working on the forum as much as normal either marketing, IT or imparting his experience to Joeylittle, it's like a weight has been lifted off his shoulders. I'm so proud of him as I know how much this place means to him and he's, in someway, handing over his 'baby". We've been together 9 years this coming February and it finally feels like PTSD doesn't encompass our lives. It's something we deal with and will always be there but the good now far outweighs the tough times we've had due to PTSD.

Thank you everyone for embracing this change and thank you to @joeylittle :)
