I suppose your all right. She may have been exposed to a gamut of mental health issues, but she has not been exposed to a veteran who themselves were exposed to many multiple traumas and were taught to lock up their emotions and only feel anger.

Seeking advice and being honest, is no different to others that have tried being part if here by saying " my boyfriend/partner etc" and gets shot down.
As many of us that are defending this lass have pointed out before, this forum is a place for Vetrens only.

My best advice is to just be yourself. You know what you want, and you have put yourself on this path. If you enjoy yourself, continue and if not, than find another passion.
