Some idiots decided to kill a WWII vet during a mugging gone wrong in October 2013. What the f*ck? He also apparently made a mean award-winning hot tamale.

And so on.

The only reason the Chris Kyle murder is so high profile is because he wrote a book of dubious credibility and it was made into a movie in a string of popular war films.

I've honesty follow as much news as I can on veteran events as possible. Including the two you mentioned.

This brings a lot of closure to Kyle & Littlefield's family, friends and those who've spent the time reading his books, watching his movie and learning of the support he gave to those of us who came home experiencing the beast.

The whole thing has turned into this weird love-it-or-hate-it cult. Either the movie is nothing more than right-wing propaganda or Chris Kyle ought to be deified. Can't people just accept that it's a memoir, and the movie is based on the memoir, and memoirs are often embellished and are of questionable credibility because the authors have a lot more poetic license than they would had they written autobiographies.

From what I've seen its people complaining and bad mouthing Kyle. None of those have bothered to read the book and or watch the movie. That's the f*cking annoying part.

I hate people that sit on the computer and bad mouth soldiers on decisions we've had to make concerning life or death in the battlefield.
