We have an extreme hill behind us that leads to the mountain. We don't rake this because there is so much wildlife that goes through from the river to the mountain and back again. There are a lot of little guys that live in there as well. What we do rake, we move to the wooded area next to us to not only help the animals but to help the forest growth. Nice article, and definitely, any excuse to not have to always be raking (especially when there are trees everywhere here) is good for me x
